02.07.2013: Compact Course by Prof. Dr. Wolfgang Hackbusch (Max Planck Institute for Mathematics in the Sciences, Magdeburg) on "An introduction to H-matrices". The course takes place on Tuesday, July 2, 10.15-11.45 am and 2.15-3.45 pm in the big lecture hall at the Biocenter Grindel and Zoological Museum, Martin-Luther-King-Platz 3.
22.-24.05.2013: LCS Workshop for Young Scientists
We invite young scientists from Hamburg working in the field of Computational Science and Engineering with the aim to gain new ideas and encourage collaboration. The participants present their projects and engage in interactive discussions in the quiet surroundings of Ploen, Schleswig-Holstein.
13.05.-17.05.2013: Compact Course by Prof. Dr. Christian Clason (Institute for Mathematics and Scientific Computing, University of Graz) on "Non-smooth analysis and optimization". The course takes place on Tuesday, 14.05., between 10-12 and 14-16 in room 430.
