Collaborations and Partners of the Lothar Collatz Center
Research groups and researchers from the Faculty of Mathematics, Informatics and Natural Sciences of the University of Hamburg, from the TU Hamburg Harburg, from DESY, from the Max Planck Institute for Meteorologie, and from the Cluster of Excellence ''Climate, Climatic Change, and Society'' (CLICSS) currently participate in the Lothar Collatz Center for Computing in Science.
Further research with the collaboration of partners from outside academia include projects with Deutsches Zentrum für Luft- und Raumfahrt, Institut für Technische Thermodynamik, Landeskriminalamt Hamburg and Joachim-Herz-Stiftung.
Further details may be found on the research site.
The Collatz Centre is a nodal point for the European Commission Erasmus Mundus Msc Course in which Prof. Gasser is the Hamburg Team coordinator.
The Collatz Centre also cooperates with the Verein Deutscher Ingenieure Hamburg with the aim to foster mathematical research in engineering applications. Dr. Heitmann serves as spokesman in the ,,Arbeitskreis für Schwingungstechnik und Akustik''.
