Young Researchers Meeting & CSE Workshop in Plön

Since 2014, the Lothar Collatz school and colleagues from the Christian-Albrechts-Universität zu Kiel have established an annual retreat. It comprises a Young Researchers Workshop and a subsequent
international Workshop. Traditionally, the meeting takes place at the end of March in Plön, a lovely little town in Schleswig-Holstein.
The PhD students of the Lothar Collatz Graduate School are expected to present their mid-term results on the annual international workshop on Recent Trends and Future Developments in
Computational Science and Engineering. The event series provides the doctoral students with an
opportunity to share their reasearch progress with an international expert audience and connect the regional network with trans-regional activities. Dedicated to the aim of stimulating an enhanced
direct exchange of ideas, it was decided to follow a workshop instead of a conference format.
